Welcome to the Hammerwich Observatory
Written by John Dee F.R.A.S.

Copernicus is an impact crater, 95.0Km across The Hammerwich Observatory is a Solar, Lunar and Planetary Observatory, located at Hammerwich in the U.K.

Most of our observations are recorded using CCD imaging equipment, but we also take time to open the doors to the pubic and just look at the beauty of the night sky.

We have a number of ongoing projects including:
• New project, Lunar dark halo crater survey.

• Compiling a Lunar photographic atlas.
• Recording observations of the Sun and terrestrial planets when favourable.
